Program name and description:     George H. Cook Scholars Program. A senior honors thesis program, which begins in the second half of the spring term, junior year. Students conduct independent research studies under the supervision of a faculty member.

Seniors who have submitted a proposal at the end of the junior year. (See George H. Cook Scholars Project Preparation.)

Student products:    

Students are required to present proposals (both written and oral) in the first term and to submit a thesis and defend at the end of the second term. Many students also make presentations at professional meetings and several are published.
