Program name and description:     Topics in Hispanic Literature and Culture. Includes a research component in which students are required to consult the standard research sources and write a research paper. Two to four topics courses are offered each year. Faculty structure these courses around their current research and involve students in readings, discussions, and papers on issues of contemporary interest to literary and cultural studies.
