Program name and description:     Research in Molecular Biology. The Waksman Institute hosts the course "Introduction to Research" offered by the Department of Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. In addition, individual researchers have undergraduates working in their laboratories.

Activity is for students in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, usually juniors. Individual research is at the discretion of the Waksman faculty member.

Some undergraduates are authors on multi-authored publications. All participate in laboratory meetings and make oral and written presentations.
