Class Attendance

Lecture: Although attendance is not a component of grade calculation, historically, students attending my lectures have performed better than those who did not.

Lecture Notes

Selected lecture material will be made available on this website.

Grading

Your final grade will reflect collective performance during the entire semester. There are a total of 400 points (see below for breakdown). Hourly exams will comprise 50% of the final grade. There will be three hourly exams with the lowest score dropped. The final exam will be cumulative and comprise the remaining 50% of the final grade. The hourly and final exams will be comprised of multiple choice questions.

 Scaling

Grades are scaled based on the relative performance of students to each other.

2.         Final grades will be based on the total number of Scaled Points earned during the session.
