In 2008, the Center for Vector Biology will offer a Masters in Public Health in vector biology. Graduate students will study in collaboration with the Department of Entomology, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Public Health. The MPH degree will provide students with a clear understanding of the roles of the core disciplines in public health. It will also provide students with sufficient knowledge of the theory and terminology used by these disciplines to allow effective participation in interdisciplinary public health efforts and with specialized skills in Epidemiology and vector biology.
