TRev: So what's your opinion of the Tolkien movie?

WCD: I think it's horrible. A desecration.

TRev: Horrible?

WCD: Yes. It's Tolkien's Lord of the Rings reimagined as a Nintendo game.

TRev: So you wouldn't advise your students to go to the movie?

WCD: I tell them there are two ways to hate Tolkien.

One is to hate Tolkien.

The other is to go to the Tolkien movie.
