New York Journal of Mathematics

New York Journal of Mathematics

Aims & Scope

  • The New York Journal of Mathematics is the first electronic general mathematics journal. It is refereed in the traditional manner, under the direction of the editorial board, and offers rapid publication of high quality articles.

Guidelines for Authors

  • Papers should be submitted by electronic mail to the member of the editorial board closest to your field. The papers are refereed in the traditional manner, with one anonymous referee. Papers may be submitted in any dialect of tex but the final version should be in LaTeX and should be prepared according to the style specifications for submissions to the New York Journal of Mathematics. One of these specifications should be emphasized: The authors should prepare their papers using the class file, nyj.cls, but, if for some reason that isn't working on your system, please use amsart.cls. For those unfamiliar with AMS-based classes, here is a template for topmatter to flag the relevant fields. Authors will have an opportunity to make final corrections before publication. A copyright agreement is used to allow authors to retain copyright.
