The Foran Hall Computer Laboratory contains 25 PC computers equipped with internet access and loaded with various software packages. All computers are tied together with TECH Commander hardware that allows slaving the student computers to the master computer, monitoring the student computers from the master computer, or transposing the screen of one computer onto all the others. A dedicated computer projector attached to the instructor computer allows display of computer functions during lectures. The computer laboratory is used by the Chang Library for internet database instruction and by various courses needing computers for instruction or data analysis. The computers have the Windows 7 operating system and have the Microsoft Office suite and DNAStar Lasergene complete software package for student instruction.
