Plasposon Request Form
This agreement will provide for the transfer
of plasposons and antibiotic resistance cassettes constructed by Jonathan
J. Dennis and Gerben J. Zylstra at the Biotechnology Center for Agriculture
and the Environment to the recipient named below. The plasposons will be
given out freely to the academic community but we request that the following
conditions be adhered to:
- Materials covered by this agreement includes all biological materials actually provided to the recipient plus any cells or molecules that are
replicated or derived therefrom.
- The materials may be used solely for research or not-for-profit purposes.
- Materials will not be distributed or released to any person other than coworkers working under the direct supervision of the recipient, and no one will be allowed to take or transfer the materials to any other location,
unless written permission is obtained.
- In accordance with academic custom, please cite our paper in publications where the plasposons are used (Dennis, J. J., and G. J. Zylstra. 1998. Plasposons: modular self-cloning mini-transposon derivatives for the rapid genetic analysis of gram-negative bacterial genomes. Appl. Environ. Microbiol. 64:2710-2715).
- In the event that commercially useful developments are made through the use of the materials, Rutgers will receive compensation which shall be determined by the parties at the time of development. Licenses are available for corporate users.
